Introduction: Who I Am

I’m finally here! It feels so right. I’ve always known I wanted to be my own entity— dressing how I want, locating where I want, doing what kind of technique and bodywork I want— and coincidentally in this moment at 2:48pm Wednesday September 3, 2025, the workers in the reception area of my therapy office are discussing massages! He’s talking about his first deep tissue and how he didn’t know that he could adjust the pressure. He’s saying he felt worse afterwards LOL! That’s not funny, but it’s funny because he laughed and I understand what he’s saying.

This is my sign that people make small talk about the new things they’ve tried with others, and how important first impressions are. So here is my introduction: hi, I’m Mary Anne! I have two names yes I like to be called Mary Anne. I’ve been licensed since Feb 2016, practicing for 9 years (damn), and I’m 30 years old.

Do people still write blogs? My goal with blogs is more personal. I enjoy writing, and sharing, and instead of bombarding friends and clients with nonsense, it’ll be posted here I guess lol. It’s a very awesome way to release energy, stir up creativity, and make room for ideas and inspiration!

I always have loved writing. I wanted to write books when I was younger— in fact my grandpa was a writer. He published a book about his time in WWII. It’s on my list to read when I start 75Hard on Monday. I mean… I am a Gemini Sun and Mercury, and a Virgo Moon and Mars! Yes, I’m a huge stars lover nerd. I love astrology AND astronomy. I love the science and the psuedoscience (I don’t want to call it that, but I think that’s the category it falls under) of our world and the universe.
